HILLWOOD COMMUNITY POOL & CLUBHOUSE DAYS & HOURS OF OPERATION
Memorial Day Weekend: The pool will open on Saturday, May 28th for the Memorial Day weekend (28th – 30th) Hours of operation will be from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
HOURS & DAYS OF OPERATION:
Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays: 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Monday: 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Thursday: 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Friday: 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Closed on Wednesday
The pool will close for the season on Monday, September 5th (Labor Day.) Hours of operation will be 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
HILLWOOD COMMUNITY POOL & CLUBHOUSE RULES AND REGULATIONS 2022
The following pool rules and regulations have been established for the general welfare and safety of all residents and guests. Please note that the Hillwood pool facility is a “NO-SMOKING Facility”, both inside and outside the pool/clubhouse.
ALL POOL USERS MUST SIGN IN. Appropriate identification will be required each visit. Pool users must be able to show proof of residence i.e., 245 through 399 South Pickett Street to gain entry.
GUEST POLICY:
Each unit is permitted to bring up to two (2) guests per day during the week, and two (2) guests per day on weekends and holidays. Guests must sign in and the logbook must show to what unit the guests belong. Residents must stay with guests at all times. The pool manager shall reserve the right to deny entrance to guests in order to accommodate residents.
All residents and guests using the pool will do so at their own risk and will be held responsible for the actions of their children. Neither the Hillwood Unit Owners Association nor the Townes of Hillwood Unit Owners Association will be responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property of residents and their guests.
Elastic rubber infant pants must be worn at all times over disposable and/or other diapers when used in the pool.
Showers are required before entering the pool. Admission may be refused to anyone wearing bandages or with a cold, cough, inflamed eyes, infection, or abrasion. If someone becomes ill at the pool, he/she will be required to remain out of the water for at least an hour or for the rest of the day at the pool manager's discretion.
NO GLASS CONTAINERS OR BREAKABLE OBJECTS OF ANY KIND WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE POOL AREA.
Beverages and food in non-breakable containers only may be consumed on the pool deck, as long as said materials are kept at least three feet away from the water's edge. No barbecuing will be allowed on the pool grounds. Trash will be disposed of using designated receptacles.
Except for privately held functions at the clubhouse, the carrying of or consumption of alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited in the pool enclosure, bathhouse, clubhouse, and surrounding grounds. Violation of this rule will be grounds for immediate ejection.
Use of rafts, balls, and other appropriate devices will be controlled by the pool manager. The pool manager reserves the right to limit or eliminate use of such devises based on crowd conditions and/or safety of pool users.
SMOKING IS PROHIBITED IN THE POOL ENCLOSURE, BATHHOUSE, AND CLUBHOUSE AND/OR OUTSIDE THE FACILITY.
HAIR MUST BE TIED BACK, BRAIDED, OR BATHING CAP WORN IF HAIR EXCEEDS TEN INCHES IN LENGTH. Swimmers must wear appropriate swimming attire - no cut-offs, jeans, or Bermuda shorts.
No pets of any kind will be permitted in the pool enclosure, bathhouse or clubhouse.
All users of the pool must conduct themselves in a courteous manner which ensures the safety of others. No abusive language or boisterous conduct will be tolerated anywhere on the premises. Radios will be allowed in the pool enclosure if used with an earphone.
All residents and guests are requested to cooperate in observing all rules. Parents should advise their children, and residents should advise their guests, of these rules and admonish them to obey the instructions of the pool manager and lifeguard. Failure to comply will result in suspension of pool privileges.
Please be assured that our main concern is for the safety of all residents and guests. Residents should be aware that guests will be accommodated whenever possible, however, never at the exclusion of other residents.
